Francesco Campisi, born in Avola, Siciliy, entered the photography field in 2012. In 2013, he attended in Perugia a training course on photography for digital communication products by Marco Giugliarelli, a renowned photographer for Il Messaggero. In 2014, Francesco took part in several photography workshops and was made responsible for the photographic section of several art catalogues. In 2015, he participated in several contests, winning the first place as ‘best detail’ in the Perugia e Dintorni competition, and supervised the photographic section for the second studio album of SARS. Since 2019, Francesco has been directly involved in many local events as a member of the Photo Library Siracusana. Committed to B&W photography, his work revolves around the representation of everyday life, often expressing the movement of human figures, ghosts, silhouettes, caught in their slow movements across overcrowded cities. A keen observer of daily life, Francesco sees photography as a tool to express in a personal way what the sentimental sphere perceives mainly through street photography and travel photography.
